I just adore Queensberry albums; I had three on display at the recent Wellington Wedding Show and we had over 500 people play with the albums and so I was intrigued to see how they would hold up. The results are in: you can’t even tell.
The thing about Queensberry is that theirs are sort of like the Ferrari of albums, aside from the fact that they obviously go faster, they’re just at the top of their game for handmade books.
What I have here is a contemporary leather cover, embossed, and matted overlay inside with art style pages. The overlay matted refers to the recessed images with an individual border around each one, giving it a more traditional look than one flush page. The pages have a lovely soft texture to them, which lends itself really well to my style and so I’m thrilled to be able to order it.
Lastly, Queensberry guarantee their albums for life. That’s not such a big deal if a company has only been around for a few years, but these guys were established in 1969, so it has a lot of weight! In case you hadn’t guessed, I use Queensberry albums in my packages. Not in just my top package, but in all album orders. And nope, I’m not sponsored or paid for this post in any way; I genuinely believe in the product
These photos were all taken after the 500+ people had handled them.
