Becky and Russell | Wedding Photography | Te Horo Beach

Becky and Russell were married at a charming New Zealand farm. The atmosphere was relaxed, the bride arrived on a tractor. There are many things I love about photographing people in New Zealand, from the casual nature, to the friendly conversations, to that moment walking into a rental where the groom is getting ready and realizing I know the place from years ago, when it was actually my friend’s husband’s family’s. Everywhere you go in this country, you find that you have some type of connection to the land or the people… and I love it.

Becky and Russell were such a blast to photograph. They are that cool couple… you know, the ones who are always so friendly and down-to-earth but also sleek and gorgeous, even on a 30+ degree day. Their families were lovely as well, and the whole day was simply a fusion of color, summer, and laughter.
